Summary
This study will compare VATS versus chest drain insertion and urokinase in the treatment of
childhood empema by a randomised prospective study.

Study design: Treatment, Randomized, Open Label, Active Control, Parallel Assignment
Primary outcome: length of hospital stay
Secondary outcome: radiological changes at follow up

Maximum age: 16 Years.
