Reported Results
Benefits:   Skin improved after about 2 months of taking the medication - the number of breakouts and new spots decreased. However, the improvement ended as soon as I stopped taking the medication.
Side effects:   None (although an oral antibiotic, so a lot of my gut flora etc. must have been killed)
Comments:   2x250mg tablets to be taken orally, twice daily. Should be taken 4 hours after eating or on an empty stomach and 1 hour before eating. This is because dairy products and other foods can interefere with antibiotic absorption. Treatment should last 3 months and imrpovement should be seen after 6 weeks. Would have been good if more information was given on which foods interefered with antibiotic metabolism, since I found it quite hard to organise my eating to fit in with taking the tablets and the timing meant that I had to take them at work, not at home.
