| Benefits: | | significant reduction of pain due to the flu virus. this is a typical prescription for the flu, pain killers with lots of fluids. I was drawn to this tablets because they look appealing, the red capsules are easy to take and the caplets are coated in sugar. Normally I'd take paracetamol, which are dry and hard to swallow, I choose these to be kind to myself !!! I had no idea they could cause this reaction. they were good pain killers. |

Still prone to shortness of breath and tightness and heavy chest feelings, very sensitive to sulphides in wine and vinegars etc, was not before this. I only became aware of this connection when I took some I had left for a period pain, once again within seconds I was really ill. |

It's a straight forward case of pain relief in response to the flu virus. the symptoms and the side effects became inter-twined, so it was not apparent that this drug was causing a reaction and worse than that I continued taking it as I became more and more ill. This is an over the counter drug, I would have appreciated more information from my pharmacist. I have tried to tell as many people as possible about what happened. After I have stopped taking the treatment I am left with a susceptibility to asthmatic type symptoms, it was also scary as I instinctively knew I was getting worse and became concerned something very serious was going on. I have never experience that type of "illness" before, normally I take time out and get well... this was an eye-opener. |

| Benefits: | | The Ibuprofen helped relieve pain and swelling from the sprained ankle. It lowered the amount of time it took to heal the ankle and also provided lasting relief from discomfort caused by swelling and pain. Swelling was substantially lowered after a week period and steps were taken to allow the ankle to regain flexibility due to subsiding of pain. |
| Side effects: | | There were no treatment side effects except for occasional nausea or drowsiness. Drowsiness however helped the patient sleep faster and thus avoid discomfort of laying in bed with a sprained ankle. Overall it simply lowered the amount of time it took to heal the ankle and also provided lasting relief from discomfort caused by swelling and pain. |
| Comments: | | Three two-hundred milligram tablets of Ibuprofen were taken for two weeks daily. The sprained-ankle caused substantial pain, discomfort and swelling. In order to begin the healing process and rehabilitation of the ankle's flexibility, Ibuprofen was taken. Ibuprofen allowed the lessening of swelling and also resulted in a subsiding of pain and thus a faster healing process. Side-effects were low and insignificant though there might be effects if taken in the long term. |

I attribute my being able to function on just one a day to my taking of many supplements, i.e. fish oils, MSM, Vit C, E and so forth. I also do Tai Chi and try to stay as active as I can. So far, so good!! |

| Benefits: | | loss of stiffness and more mobility. After a heavy weight workout, taking Miotrin relieved the stiffness and iflamation around lower back. Next day mobility and flesibility was much greater, and less pain. |

| Benefits: | | The benefits are that the medication is very effective in treating menstrual cramping. Three times daily dosage is also quite convenient. I have been taking this medication for over 10 years and I don't see any long term side effects associated with it. Another benefit is that the medication is very useful in preventing menstrual cramp. If it is taken BEFORE menstruation, I won't experience any cramp at all. |
| Side effects: | | Side effects are I occasionally experience heartburn and nausea after taking the medication if I do not take it with food. Also another downside of this medication is that if i take it when the cramping has started long and severe, it is less effective and it takes a lot longer for the medication to be effective, no matter how much i take. |
| Comments: | | Overall I'm very satisfied with the medication in it's efficacy and side effects profile. I only experience occasional side effects and in general the medication is very effective in treating and preventing menstrual cramping. However, the medication is best being taken before the cramping has started or immediately when the cramping starts because the longer you wait, the less effective the medication is, regardless the dose of the medication. |

| Comments: | | Depending on my arthritis pain, I would take 1 x 600mg Ibuprofen two to three times per day. During flare-ups, it was necessary to "hit the pain hard" and take 600 mg four times per day and on the very rare occasion 5 times per day (this has not been necessary for over 10 yrs.) |
