Overall rating:
Effectiveness:   Considerably Effective
Side effects:   No Side Effects

Treatment Info
Condition / reason:   perioral dermamtitis
Dosage & duration:   apply to face twice daily (dosage frequency: twice daily) for the period of ongoing
Other conditions:   n/a
Other drugs taken:   topical cortisone cream

Reported Results
Benefits:   The small pimples that accompany perioral dermatitis clear much more quickly with metrolotion. The dry, red, irritated patches might be slightly calmed by the metrolotion, but topical cortisone is needed to clear them.
Side effects:   none
Comments:   Metrolotion applied daily, and cortisone cream applied as needed, keep my perioral dermatitis (which is exacerbated by sun, wind, chlorine, and many facial products like sunscreen) undercontrol.
