| Benefits: | | Completely cleared up the condition. Without using messy creams, or powders. Prevented it from spreading to other body parts. |

| Comments: | | The terbinafine was taken to eradicate nail fungus, which had aggressively attacked 2 toenails and was spreading to nearby digits. The terbinafine 250mg tablets were taken, 1 per day, for a little over 2 months. The first symptoms of the rash were noticed as slight, itchy redness on the skin around the chest and stomach area. These symptoms were noticed on 5/21, about 7 weeks into the treatment, but the condition not diagnosed as an allergic reaction until 6/10. By that time it had spread to 70% of the body, on the torso, back, and legs. The diagnosing physician suspected the terbinafine, and the patient immediately stopped taking the drug. Assessment of the original condition (toenail fungus) was that the terbinafine had already successfully resolved it. |

| Benefits: | | My fingernails have grown back to where the nail hits the end of where it should be instead of clipped down. I cant wait for the nail to grow back all the way to where I can pick up a piece of thin paper with my fingernail, as I work at an office!.Also, the little black splinters under my thumb nail are starting to go away, as is the yellowing and thickness of the nail, due to the infection. |
| Side effects: | | A long time ago, 10 years, when I was prescribed lamisil by my doctor, I had dark circles under my eyes and was tired lots of time. When I went back to teh doctor he told me he had to take me off the lamisil because it was harming my liver function. But by that time, the effect of teh medicine was enough for my nails to grow back after that. I think it was a change in climate, moving away from Astoria to a dryer climate of Portland. |
| Comments: | | When I saw the doctor 10 or so years ago, My nails were so bad, it was hard to look at them. The nails were thin and undernieth there was the infection of pus, so much that I had to clip the nails down and even pull one off; which wasnt difficult, because it was so weak, it just came right off. But after I took the lamisil, they grew back better, eventually. |

| Benefits: | | After having tried several over the counter treatments for this condition, this treatment was the only one that effectively treated the condition. The itching and discoloration began to dissipate after a few days and symptoms were completely gone after two weeks. |

| Comments: | | As recommended by my doctor I continued the treatment for two weeks after the symptoms had disappeared. The cream was applied liberally to affected areas twice a day. I would recommend this treatment to anyone with persistent fugal skin growth. |

| Benefits: | | I did not see a change in the condition of the toenail. Only about a quarter if the left great toenail was affected. After taking the drug for the 12 weeks, the physician recommended another 12 week course, however my insurance company would not cover the extended treatment and I could not afford the cost of Lamisil. Perhaps a positive effect would have been realized if I was able to continue the treatment |

| Comments: | | I was to take the drug for 12 weeks after having liver function studies performed. I did not experience any untowards side effects having taken the medication for ther prescribed 12 weeks. I did not miss any doses during that time. |

After seeing the doctor in July, he said if it wasn't moving, he was going to increase dosage, but thankfully, it is moving. |
