| Benefits: | | I had been having abdominal pain for quites some time which was diagnosed as h-pylorybacter. I started taking the Biaxin as pary of Prevpac. In about 3 days, I noticed that the pain was lessening and I was feeling less run down. I had been ill due to the condition being undiagnosed for about 5 months. The infection was clearing up |
| Side effects: | | After taking the Biaxin for 9 days and feeling much improvement, I started noticing some itchy bumps on my legs. Over the next 2 days, my whole body erupted into welts, especially in the axilla, the groin. I called my doctoe and stopped the Biaxin. I continued to have new hives each day for the next 5 days. Gradually they went away. |
| Comments: | | To eliminate the side effects of hives, I had to stop the Biaxin and all other medication. I ties taking Sudaphed to control the itching, but this was not effective. I ended up going to the emergency room because the welst were so itchy and painful and I had not slept in 2 days. They were unable to give me any medication for the reaction beacuse of my gastrointestinal distress. I had to jus wait it out. |

| Benefits: | | It effectively treated my maxillary sinus infection. No more smelly nasal discharge and I could see the result within the first day of taking this drug. |

| Comments: | | I have had a maxillary sinus infection after a flu for 3 weeks and it would not go away. The nasal discharge had a very unpleasant smell and taste. My doctor first prescribed Cefuroxime 250mg and I took that for 10 days with no results. I then went to my dentist to have my teeth checked to see if they might have been the cause. The dentist found nothing but prescribed Biaxin 500mg for me to take for the infection. The smelly nasal discharge decreased substantially after the first day of taking this antibiotic! I continued to take this for 7 days and the sinus infection is gone and no more smelly mucus coming out of my nose. |

| Benefits: | | The treatment benefit of the pharmaceutical drug named Biaxin included assistance with the eradication of the cell wall deficient bacteria named Borrelia Burgdorferi. In combination with the Flagyl, which breaks down the biofilm that the Borrelia bacteria protect themselves from hostile environments including exposure to antibiotics, the Biaxin can kill the bacteria when they emerge from their biofilms which is weakened by Flagyl. |
| Side effects: | | I only experienced one side effect from this medication which I will mention as follows. The side effect that experienced throughout the course of treatment was the persuasive bitter taste in the mouth. Other than that single side effect I did not experience any other side effects that I am aware of. |
| Comments: | | The treatment details using the combination of Biaxin and Flagyl together was to assist in the eradication of the cell wall deficient bacteria called Borrelia Burgdorferi. The Flagyl was prescribed to be taken in a five hundred milligram dose twice a day with food as was the same for Biaxin. |
