Can Omnaris cause profuse sweating and feeling extremely hot? Is it a serious side effect?

I never realized that the Omnaris was playing a role in my extreme sweating episodes every morning, until I recently started taking it again after being off of it for a month or more. During that month I have not been sweating and miserably hot. Now as soon as I started using it again I am dripping with sweat in the mornings and very hot and uncomfortable again in the evenings. Maybe its not early menopause after all. I am 44.

Omnaris is a brand of  nasal ciclesonide, an anti-inflammatory steroid. Steroids can cause sweating, although it is uncommon for relatively small doses delivered via nasal spray. And indeed is is also possible that your sweats are caused or contributed to by menopause. However, since extreme sweating may be a manifestation of serious side effects of steroids, you should discuss this with your doctor as soon as possible.
