prednisone has the pre-conversion half life of 1 hour. Your system should be able to metabloize it within a few hours. It is then converted into is a prednisolone, which has a half life of 2 to 3 hours. It shoudl be out of your system within 24 - 36 hours, but your system then needs time to re-regulate itself.

One drop of 1% solution, should contain about 0.5 mg of prednisolone. Even if we assume that all of that is absorbed into systemic circulation, this is still a rather low dose unlikley to have significant sustemic effects if taken short-term. For comparison, typical doses of oral prednisolone range from 5 to 60 mg.
