Abdominal distension does not seem to be a common side effect of Crestor. (see http://www.druglib.com/adverse-reactions_side-effects/crestor/ )

However, abdominal distension itself is generally a result of something else, such as a impairment of GI motility, ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity), etc. So, it is important to find out what is causing abdominal distension -- then one may be able to figure out whether it may be related to Crestor and what is the optimal course of action.
