Does Reclast affect Coumadin level?

There does not seem to be any studies/data on the effect of reclast on  the levels of Coumadin (warfarin). Reclast is not listed among commondrug interactions of Coumadin (warfarin) on the drug label info.

More frequent International Normalized Ratio (INR) testing may be required, especially in the early weeks following a Reclast® medication injection.
Warfarin labeling additionally recommends more frequent testing for any newly started or recently stopped medications.

Make sure that your doctor(s) are aware of the additional medications, such as Reclast, and perform additional testing as needed.
