Bezodiazepines, particularly diazepam (Valium), are sometimes used to partly relieve symptoms of withdrawals from opiates, including partial opiates like tramadol. However, bezodiazepines themselves can produce tolerance and may lead to withdrawal problems of their own.

Gnenerally speaking, managing withdrawal symptoms, especially  thru pharmacological means, should be done under a supervision of a physician.
