Bupropion, like some other antidepressants, lowers seizure threshold, which increases the risk of seizures. Only your doctor, who presumably knows your history well, can decide whether this additional risk is justified and what dose is appropriate.

Wellbutrin lowers the seizure threshold, especially at doses above 300 mg. That said, it is not absolutely contraindicated in patients who have a history of seizures. The risks must be weighed versus potential benefits on an individual basis.
