Allergic reaction to miralax?

Had colonoscopy yesterday, husband noticed my neck was extremely red, didn't mention it to me. Awoken from sound sleep this morning with a burning itchy neck, had symmetrical rash on neck and both sides of throat, starting to get hives and sweating. Went to see Dr.(gp) for sick visit,(diff. DR. very young) wanted to give me prednizone. I have acute narrow angle glaucoma, said I'd prefer something topical, prescribed Halobetasol Propionate Cream. Isn't relieving symptons.

Severe allergic reactions to Miralax can include rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. So it souds like you may well be experiencing an cute allergic reaction

I would go back to the Dr. or seek a second opinion immediately. Are the symptoms at least subsiding or getting worse?
