Tinzaparin (Innohep) is a form of heparin used in treating deep vein thrombosis. Unfortunately, there is very little research regarding its use during pregnancy, particularly regarding any additional risk to the mother or the fetus tinzaparin may pose.
There seems to be one relatively large international study on the subject (see http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21945573 ) indicating that these additional risks are not that high   -- the authors call the results "reassuring". However, this is just one study and, furthermore, it is a retrospecitve study (i.e. essentially, just an analysis of patient records in the archives of several hospitals), which is a far cry from the gold standard of medical evidence.

Thus, while the scant existing data may seem reassuring, it is likely premature to make any definitive conclusions about the safety of tinzaparin (Innohep) during pregnancy.
