Blood clots are not listed as a major side effect of Forteo.
However, in a small percentage of cases Forteo causes hypercalcemia (elevated calcium in the bloodstream), which, in turn, may affect clotting. There is no data to say how significant a concern this might be but you would want to make sure that your doctors monitors your calcium level. Hypercalcemia is bad for a variety of reasons.
