Aricept has a very long half-life (~70 hours), and if it has been taken for a long time, it accumulates more for the person.
So if someone took a single dose, they could expect ~95% of the drug to be eliminated after 350 hours (14.5 days). For someone who has taken it for months or years, it would likely take longer, but how much longer I am not sure. Keep in mind, the effect of the drugs (and any side-effects being experienced) would likely dissipate far earlier than the 14.5 days mark; likely close to 3-4 days.
