Can i break terbinafine in half and swollow with food?

i struggle to swollow tablets at all, is it ok to break in half and swollow with yogurt? as it says on packet to swollow whole with water??? am taking it for a nail fungi

It does not seem that terbinafine is affected by food or stomach acid because allegedly it can be taken either with food or on empty stomach. However, cut pieces of pills, especially not smoothly shaped, can be difficult to swallow. Make sure to check with  your doctor or pharmacist before changing your drug regimen in any way.
