TRENTAL®
(pentoxifylline)
Tablets, 400 mg

TRENTAL® (pentoxifylline) tablets for oral administration contain 400 mg of the active drug in a controlled-release formulation.

TRENTAL is indicated for the treatment of patients with intermittent claudication on the basis of chronic occlusive arterial disease of the limbs. TRENTAL can improve function and symptoms but is not intended to replace more definitive therapy, such as surgical bypass, or removal of arterial obstructions when treating peripheral vascular disease.

Dosage & duration:   400mg taken three times daily for the period of 1 year
Other conditions:   osteoperosis
Other drugs taken:   protium, risedronate, movox, colchicine
  
Reported Results
Benefits:   Reduced stickiness of the blood.If inflammation of blood vessels did occur, the blood was thinner and so could get through vessels with reduced occurence of ulceration. General overall improval of condition.
Side effects:   Minimal side effects, some nausea- very minimal.
Comments:   Inconvient to remember to take as they are required three or four times daily. Overall very pleased with results.
