Avar Gel (Sodium Sulfacetamide / Sulfur) - Indications and Dosage

INDICATIONS

AVAR Gel, AVAR Green and AVAR Cleanser are indicated in the topical control of acne vulgaris, acne rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

AVAR Gel: Apply a thin film of AVAR Gel to affected areas 1 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.

AVAR Green Color Corrective Gel: Apply a thin layer of AVAR Green to affected areas 1 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician. Apply only a small amount of AVAR Green to affected area and massage the green gel completely and uniformly into the skin.

AVAR Cleanser: Wash affected areas with AVAR Cleanser 1 to 2 times daily, or as directed by a physician. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Wet skin and liberally apply to areas to be cleansed, massage gently into skin for 10-20 seconds working into a full lather, rinse thoroughly and pat dry. If drying occurs, it may be controlled by rinsing cleanser off sooner or using cleanser less often.

HOW SUPPLIED

AVAR Gel - 45 g tubes (NDC 65880-001-45).

AVAR Green Color Corrective Gel - 45 g tubes (NDC 65880-002-45).

AVAR Cleanser - 8 oz. (226.8 g) bottles with a pump dispenser (NDC 65880-200-08)

Store between 15° and 25°C (59° and 77°F). Do not freeze.
